The road to recovery can be a long and difficult one. Even with a great support system of friends and family, you can often feel like you’re alone. It’s tough for others who haven’t had cervical cancer to understand what you’re going through.
You don’t have to fight the battle alone, however. And neither do your friends and family. There are plenty of support groups to choose from. A few are listed below.
American Cancer Society
This is one of the best places to start when looking for a cervical cancer support group. The organization keeps a roster of all the local chapters, including those in Central Florida as well as your own hometown.

Online Cervical Cancer Support Groups
If you are going through cervical cancer treatment, want to know how others are coping with the disease, looking for information or just a compassionate shoulder to cry on, there are many forums online that offer support virtually. This includes the National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC).
