Even if you have a terrific support system, there are times when you may want to speak with someone who has “been there” and knows what you’re going through. The same is true for family and friends who are right by your side, fighting with you.
Thankfully, there are a number of groups that offer support for those with ovarian cancer, ovarian cancer survivors and their friends and families.
American Cancer Society
This is one of the best places to start when looking for an ovarian cancer support group. The organization keeps a roster of all the local chapters, including those in Central Florida as well as your own hometown.
